This must signify a new low in the flaunting of wealth by Millionaire Executives of the Armstrong/ Tkach Cult. Even the very high living Herbert W. Armstrong had a 'Buy American' policy for his U.S. Cadillac limos and 'Buy British' for his U.K. Rolls Royce.
With his flashy new BMW and the contempt he has for his critics, Millionaire Worldwide Church of God Executive Bernard $chnippert is emerging as the new 'Bete Noir' (detested object) of the Worldwide Church of God Cult. You will recall that $tan Rader was referred to as the 'Bete Noir' of the Worldwide Church of God in the famous "60 Minutes" expose of the Armstrong/Tkach Cult called "God and Mammon". $chnippert's big obsession now is selling the headquarters real estate for as much money as possible even if it means ruining the community with high density anthill-like apartment buildings. Mark my words, when, and if, they are able to finally cash out the real estate, these executives will pay themselves huge retirement packages and be gone. Why do you think they are planning to implement local financing for churches "after the property sells?" It's because they won't care after the sale because they will be out of the religion business. Word is, that even now, they are not turning up at "work" regularly. Watch 'em disappear after the money is divided up !
Legal 'Looting'
There's a lot of looting of institutions - corporate, public, and religious - going on these days and one principle that all of the operators of these bodies have learned to go by is to "keep it legal" in order to avoid fines and-or jail. Generally speaking, operators of all three institutions use the same methods to legally loot - that being large salaries, extensive benefits, perks, and huge severance & retirement payouts. Some examples of
illegal methods would be insider trading and fraudulent bookkeeping in the corporate world (and there's enough of that these days) and fraudulent timeshare investments in the case of the PTL religious empire. Had Jim and Tammy Baker stuck to legal looting methods, they could still have been super rich like $tan, $chnippert, and Jo$eph and avoided the jail time.In keeping with the greed that permeates today's institutions, here in Milwaukee (the original home of the Painful Truth) we have had a local-government financial scandal second to none. It turned out that many county and city officials had engineered retirement packages for themselves of up to two million dollars (as well as taking the usual six- figure salaries). How do we know that Worldwide Church of God Executive retirement packages will not be equally as generous ? After all, the Worldwide Church of God has secret bookkeeping when it comes to these matters. One trick the Milwaukee officials used was to pay themselves their accumulated "sick pay" at their most recent hourly rate. This can turn out to be a huge perk as they allot themselves large tranches of "sick time" per year. Along these lines, it has just been revealed that former Wisconsin governor, Tommy Thompson, has $250,000 in accumulated "sick pay". This is the same guy who left the state with a $1 billion deficit and is now a member of the Bush Cabinet tapping into big Federal bucks. By learning more about government corruption, we can get more clues on how the Millionaire Worldwide Church of God Executives are enriching themselves.
Remember, everything the Millionaire Executives are doing { huge six-figure salaries, "parsonage" (mansion) handouts, automobiles (Bavarian ?), health insurance, ("sick-pay" schemes ?) and other perks} and are going to do (huge retirement payouts) are perfectly legal and have been tested in the courts during the Receivership Crisis when Millionaire $tan Rader defended the rights of the leaders of the Armstrong/Tkach Cult to take whatever they could get away with in salaries and perks. It took investigative journalists months to crack the Milwaukee County pension scandal but we will never know details of salaries, perks and pensions in the Armstrong/ Tkach Cult because their books are closed to this information and they are not required by law to have this kind of financial accountability. The "remnant" titheslaves need to be made aware of this and I'm pleased to report that great progress is being made in this area.
Here's the way it works in the corporate world: on top of the huge executive salaries, large bundles of stock options are distributed to the big boys. The stock price is "pumped" up then the insiders cash in and bail out as the company collapses. Will the executives of the Tkach Cult bail out after the big property sale ? You can bet on it !
Speaking of lack of accountability in religious organizations, the opportunities for legalized looting are limitless. For instance, religious orgs like the Tkach Cult are not required to disclose or report executive salaries and remuneration. So Worldwide Church of God executive salaries remain top secret though Tkach's salary alone is rumored to be somewhere between $300,000 and $600,000 per year although it could be much higher. How do we know $chnippert's BMW was not paid for by the church ? The Worldwide Church of God has a history of generous automotive and housing perks for executives (limos and mansions in Pasadena and Beverly Hills). Can you imagine what it costs for 'blue ribbon' health insurance for the Wealthy Tkach Family in Southern California where the number of millionaire doctors is outnumbered only by the number of malpractice attorneys ? My estimate is at least $20,000 - no problem, just slug it to the ever-loyal, unquestioning titheslaves and add it as another perk on top of that huge secret salary !
Doesn't it break your heart to hear that Jo$eph Tkach Sr and $tan Rader were taken from our midst by cancer before they got a chance to spend their millions ? Maybe this is one of the strongest proofs for the existence of God ? At least $tan Rader was busy trying to spend his fortune in Europe when he was (divinely ?) struck down with cancer. Arm$trong taught him well that the fastest way to burn money - short of using an incinerator - is to hang out at five star restaurants and resorts in Europe. $tan was reportedly flown back to La La Land on a chartered jet in the vain hope of finding a cure - kind of the reverse of what happened with Rock Hudson when he was flown on a chartered jet the other way from LA to Paris in the hope of treatment for AIDS. These rich mortals will do anything to prolong their good life in Southern California and along the Northern Mediterranean ! Another reason the present WGG Executives need to "retire" now and get down to some serious spending of their massive fortunes before they are hit with the (Divine ?) Worldwide Church of God-Executive Cancer Curse !
