I went to services there for years and to feasts before and after the roof collapsed and was rebuilt (smaller). Many 'local' members including my family put in a lot of man hours on the property. The place really was beautiful.<BR/><BR/><BR/>...It still sits idle and has been vandalized hundreds of times since the sale. The word "Senda" in Japanese comes out as "Sendai". <BR/><BR/>Sendai literally means "ancient family" or interestingly enough "1000 year reign". <BR/><BR/>I think this is more than a coincidence. <BR/><BR/>The Sendai Domain in Japan is one of the most ancient of the Japanese Family domains and fiefdoms.
