New Zealanders don't tend to wear their patriotism on their sleeve. The idea of kids saluting the flag, for example, seems downright strange in this part of the world. Mind you, nothing rouses the blood quite like a haka before an international rugby game. ;-)

In most of the USA, that seems almost downright unpatriotic.

But in my home town of Kansas City, one of the big TV stations always signed on and off with a recording of Gordon McRae singing "The Lord's Prayer." Now that was nice.

But Larry, you have to understand that we outside the 'glorious land' recognise that a certain segment of the American population seems to make a habit of yanking our chains. So, for some at least, the name seems to fit.

As a "fellow Godzoner" -- I remember it well... Was it really 1994 ? Time flies quickly. About the pussy getting to the top, people didn't seem to care, because it was TV fiction, and they were quite tired when it was shown anyway - about midnight if I remember correctly.
