Lack of character and not sporting enough is obviously a wider problem.

I have come to the conclusion however that certain countries have fallen victim to an epedemic caused by the "food" industry.

In other words I have changed my harsh judgement on the character of the American people into a kinder acknowledgement of the role of the (maize, sugar, foodprocessing industry and its lobby).

My concern on ttip is exactly that.

And you my friend have no excuse linking yourself to those Anglo Saxon nationalities.
Look at the map and the reality is that you find yourself amongst the noodle, fish eating peoples. A richness and diversity in foods that I am extremely jealous of.

I wish you lots of health and enjoyment in choosing from that wealth.

As portrayed in Star Trek I am in favor of access to all primary sources of everything that ever happened.

From the preaching of Savonarola in Florence, Menno Simonsz in Munster, William Miller, John Calvin or Wesley. However I am not so much in favor of re-editing, either photo, video or text.

In early communist Russia, Lenin's comrades were edited in and out of photo's. Now we are dealing with sometimes 4 versions of the same photo at the same event.

With modern technology it is possible to have GTA recite entire Obama campaign speeches, and it would not be possible to see with the naked eye that the material is tampered with.

Incorrect. It is an opinion. To be harassed would be defined basically as stalked from website to website. In order for legal action to be taken you would have to prove this before any attorney would take on the case. Here is part of the problem. We had one anonymous poster claiming to be the church member who set up the meeting with Bob Dole. The posts from successive anonymous posters appeared to be in philosophical alignment with that original anonymous poster. This is an example of the confusion that can result if posters do not at least pick a screen name. Until you just mentioned that you were a 15 year old young lady, I was under the impression that I was still involved in a discussion with the arranger of the meeting with Senator Dole. Take that as a compliment that perhaps you are mature beyond your years!

Having said all of that, I know that as a minor, you must show the proper respect for your parents and their beliefs so long as you live under their roof. I don't use my real name because of the 5th Commandment. My parents are very active in one of the splinters, and my views might be held against them, which if it happened, would grieve me greatly. However, please put a bookmark into some of the things which we are saying here, so that in three years, you can fact-check everything for yourself. In the interim, love your parents, and don't get yourself into trouble.

I apologize profusely if I seemed mean or dismissive in any way. It is a lesson to me that I need to be more conscious of the wide variety of people who might be at the keyboard!

Of course, if either Mr or Mrs Timmons were to request a correction, then that would be another matter. I'm sure Pam would agree. Hope you are not holding your breath! This skip to the next generation is only going to confirm what has been a pattern starting with William Miller in the first part of the 1800s.
The people inside the group will fund half a gospel message (they call the part about Jesus saving "a gospel that has been made to be about the person of Jesus"), that half a gospel won't do what they say it will, and another group of members will have been fleeced by Armstrong francisees who convince them that God has made them the gatekeepers.

GTA, who by the way, I did admire on some levels, should have accepted some of those other job openings you mentioned. Per Paul's letter to Timothy, GTA was NEVER qualified to be a minister of Jesus Christ. Neither was his father. The movement was bogus from the moment HWA splintered from COG-7, itself a bogus splinter.

Actually, we covered much of this same material a couple of weeks ago when Ian dropped by to give reformed Armstrongism a test drive. So, good luck with your Garner Ted Aukerman! It seems as if you believe that political and Hollywood connections validate your movement.

HWA always said and taught don't believe him (HWA) but believe Christ, believe the Bible! And HWA was NOT the Elijah. Christ said John the Babtist was the Elijah to come before Him. I believe Jesus Christ. Those that attributed the title to HWA did so perhaps lovingly out of respect and honor, but nevertheless they did so in error. Armstrong was just a servant and disciple. Not Elijah. Not an Apostle. The only "apostles" actually were hand picked by Christ lived and worked with Christ during his time. HWA was Not Elijah. Christ said It was John.

The Library of Congress collection was ordered rd by Dole in '78, AFTER Dole learned HWA and GTA separated. However Dole only ordered GTA's broadcasts preserved and they BEGIN in 1972. The LoC collections spans from 1972 till 1994! By a clerical error of the staff of Mrs. Rosemary Hanes of the archive division, they continued to store the master tapes of The World Tomorrow thought 1994. ALL of the broadcast tapes are in the library holdings including those made by David Hulme, Greg Albrecth, Ron Kelly and Richard Ames. I don't need to explain any further, because frankly when the original WCG did set dates, and did teach those equations, they were violating that scripture. They modified it by teaching the other scripture which stated that God would not do anything except that he revealed it to His prophets. And since HWA was known as "the end time Elijah", church members in the '50s and '60s universally believed the 1972-75 dates. It was like "only the Father knows" was true when the gospels were written, but now we have the endtime Elijah with us so we can know the date. And, since having the Holy Spirit was only assumed in WCG circles if you agreed with HWA, the people remaining innthe church bought into HWA's backpedaling. I did not. It amazes me that people still actually believe all of this British Israel nonsense prophecy.

And most especially Dole does not give a thought to the personal lives of his congressional colleagues. Or, the personal life of Donald Trump seeing as Dole did just publically endorse Trump last week. And God does not measure one sin "bigger than" another sin. Was Bill Cosby convicted? OK then. Those three equations didn't just go away because the date failed and there was all of the backpedaling. It would be very difficult for a liar to invent such things, and on the various forums and blogs over the years, some of my AC classmates, and even a family member who graduated from AC confirmed remembering the equations. I am not going to call you a liar, but I am going to state that you are one of those who have been reprogrammed. No biggie. Some of my relatives bought into the reprogramming, too.

Also, in an election year, Republicans generally spout a lot of your same fear-rhetoric. There's an awfully lot of "ain't it awful?" going around, and it'll continue over the coming months until we have a new POTUS.
